Role-SEC



Secretary’s Role
Secretary is a person whose job is helping the leader’s duties. She is to reach company destination quickly, and she also has many kinds of roles for example:

1.      As a receptionist
      as we know that primary duties of receptionist are handling telephone and guest. A secretary should be selected in receiving a guest who can meet with director or not, and arrange good time to meet with director.
and than in handling telephone, we should give excellent service as well as possible
2.      Filter and processing information
      Secretary is a first person who has known about all of the matter in a company, secretary look for, to make fun, save, and distribute the information to each other. 
3.      Private assistant
      A secretary who help a director to finish his entire job and sometimes she will be represent for company’s need. for example, if the boss has important duties and he can’t leave that, of course as secretary we should be represent him.
4.      Secret keeper
      A good secretary would have capability to keep the secret of company. you know that means of secretary from yunani is secretum which definition in English is secret,  of course from here, we can describe secretary should keep the information of company.
5.      As an adviser
      Usually, secretary who asked about her opinion by director. If director want making a decision, sometimes he ask his secretary to give advice and solution to solve the problem.
6.      Public relation
      Secretary should make her self as a mediator between managers with company relations. because you know that secretary as well as public figure in company and make relations to each other not only from internal but also from external.

Secretary has 3 kinds of roles
1.      Strategy roles; it means that secretary should be keeper of the company’s secret
2.      Technical roles; it means that secretary should be finish all of her duties well for exam:…………..
3.      supported roles; it means that role which hope can give positive influence for another employee, for example in delivery an information.

Conclusion: generally, the position of secretary is important for company because you know that there are many kinds of secretary’s roles
